Botox at 25

July 7, 2011

You’re a quarter of a century old, and if you’re like most 25 year olds, your skin is still fairly wrinkle-free. But you’re starting to worry about the inevitable fine lines that will soon creep up around your eyes from all the smiling you’ve done. Or on your forehead from all that heavy thinking that got you where you are today.
The benefits of Botox are proven when attempting to snuff out wrinkles after years of frowning, smoking or laughing. But a new thought bubble is forming above the heads of twenty somethings across the country. “Why not get Botox now and avoid the wrinkles all together?”

Our Elan experts know that every age-group has different concerns. For people who are beginning to notice static wrinkle lines (read: lines that can be seen at rest) Botox is a preventative option.

In preventing wrinkles, the use of sunscreen is important and sunglasses are great to help avoid the tell-tale signs of squinting, but rather than curse the morning sun, many young people are opting to use Botox as a longer-term tool in the fight to avoid wrinkles. Perhaps crow’s-feet aren’t so inevitable after-all.
